The murder victim, Omaha was shot to death outside the Carnivale of Souls. Due to his bookkeeping for the carnivale and his couriering for the drug syndicate, he was known to all of the current PCs. He was a Boggan Grump in his 40s, who had slowly been slipping into the Mists of Banality. He had been shot once in the head at point-blank range, and not robbed (until the PCs got to the body).
